Matt Boykin Walker, the man accused of being the ringleader in a high dollar antique heist, was back in Mobile Metro jail.

Investigator: Man who ‘wines and dines blue-blood Mobilians’ charged with receving stolen property

French and Italian antiquities, ornate fireplace mantles, centuries-old millwork and crown molding, reported stolen from at least three homes in Mobile and Baldwin counties in the last two years.

The investigation was started by Baldwin Legal Investigations Inc., a private detective firm based in Daphne, Miller said.

After 2 mistrials, jury clears Buzbee in death of service station own

Leslie Eric Buzbee stood on the bank of Bay Minette Creek at his grandfather’s fish camp Friday afternoon as a free man, holding his toddler son for the first time in two years.

“I’m honest and I told the truth,” said Buzbee, with a fishing boat behind him and clad in khakis and a button-down shirt. “And the jury found the truth.” Continued at the Press-Register.

Leslie Buzbee acquitted on all charges in Bobby Wilson murder

Leslie Eric Buzbee, 25,  is a free man. A Baldwin County Circuit Court jury found him not guilty on all murder charges related to the death of Arthur “Bobby” Wilson of Spanish Fort in 2007. 

Buzbee’s defense lawyer, John Beck, said he was “absolutely estactic” after the verdict was read. Buzbee is expected to be released from the Baldwin County Corrections Center in the next hour or so, officials said. Continued at the Press-Register.
